What should I do if a student never sees the game lobby?

If your students are seeing a blank grey screen when trying to join the class lobby, that’s okay! They are still in the lobby (even if they can’t see the screen) and will be assigned a group when the teacher launches the game.

Alternatively, If the student is not logged in with the correct account, they will not see the lobby for your class. This can happen if the web site was left open from a previous class or period.

  1. Tap and hold on the screen until the context menu appears. Click “Reload.” This will take the browser out of full screen mode.
  2. Close the browser.
  3. Follow “Discussion Maker: A sequential overview”, instructing the students log in with the usernames and passwords you received via email. This will have the student log in with their correct account.
